Stoney and Jan have been photographing wildlife and nature professionally for 14 years and have honed their skills to bring viewers into close proximity with wild animals, both as main subjects and as part of the environment.

Their landscape collections illustrate the beauty and diversity in the natural world. Images are vivid, and their individual styles of subject selection and composition provide increased variety in any given subject. Both their wildlife and landscape portfolios are internationally diverse.
 
Wildlife photography began with the excitement of their first safari to the Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Samburu in Kenya in 1994. Since then the Edwardses, Los Altos California residents have traveled the world resulting in over 10,000 quality images from the following locales:
   Africa (Botswana, Kenya, Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania)
   Antarctic (Antarctic Peninsula, South Georgia, Falkland Islands)
   Arctic (Svalbard)

They have been members of NANPA (North American Nature Photographers Association) since 2002, participated in 5 “summits,” had images published in NANPA Currents magazine and participated in Members Slide Shows at three of the Summits.

Throughout their photographic careers Stoney and Jan have used top-of the line Nikon professional cameras and lenses. All new images since 2006 have been captured digitally. All slide images offered for sale or presentation are scanned at 4000 dots per inch (DPI) using a Nikon Scanner.

* Installation of five very large framed images at the Fogarty Institute of Innovation at El Camino Hospital in July of 2008.
* Publication of Leaping Polar Bear in National Wildlife Federation 2007 Annual Report
* Installation of 16 20x30 framed prints at El Camino Hospital in November 2007
* Participant Slide Shows and Members Show Case chosen by panel judges for North American Nature Photographers Association.
* Finalists in the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the year competition 2003, 2005 and 2007
* Photos featured on National Wildlife Federation website in 2005, Jan., July and Nov. of 2006, and three in 2008.
* Website photos chosen for Joseph Van Os photographic safaris
* Month long exhibits at Los Altos Public Library – March 2006 and March 2007
* Permanent gallery in Family Center, First Baptist Church of Los Altos
* Permanent Gallery in their home in Los Altos
* Slide shows for civic and public groups.
